Throughout my entire childhood, there have been many experiences that I have cherished and still look back on fondly. Among the most fond, is of going to my local game store and stumping up the cash for a brand new Nintendo 64 complete with Goldeneye, Diddy Kong Racing (don’t ask my why I just didn’t get Mario Kart) and two controllers. My life would never be the same again.

#3: What is the line in a relationship?

Each person feels differently about what they are willing to tolerate from others. Some people want to be a people pleaser and are willing to put up with a lot, other’s can be more like Marcie and won’t put up with nuthin’. Relationships, of course, are no different and boundaries are sometimes stringently enforced to ensure that respect is given to the other half. In fact, I would say that tolerating another’s faults demonstrates a lot of love in another person. As Wayne Campbell once said,

If you blow chunks and she comes back, she’s yours. But if you spew and she bolts, then it was never meant to be.

Occasionally though, these rules are violated and lines are stomped on… over and over. Here are some irredeemable deal breakers that I hear more oft than not:

#2: What are the most annoying flat mate habits?

You know what really grinds my gears (for want of a more clichéd phrase)? The fact that every morning, I must go through to same frustrations when it comes to our flatmate. When you first meet someone and decide that, “Hey, you’re kind of okay – you’re probably not going to kill me – so here’s the keys to our apartment, and oh, just remember the rent each month,” you truly think that they are on some level, well, normal. I guess that’s why you choose them in the first place.

#1: What would you not eat on a first date?

As a few friends and I were enjoying a spectacular meal of lobster and steak last night at Big Easy (@bigeasytweet) – it occurred to me that it wasn’t exactly the most glamorous meal to be eating in the world. Sure, the food was delicious and we all enjoyed what we ate immensely, but I couldn’t help but think, as I scanned around the room with the many couples around, it might be amongst one of the worst meals you could enjoy if you were on a first date with your potential new partner.
